Sensitive to the fluoride in tap water which commonly gives it burnt tips, opt for a distilled water
Allow soil to dry slightly between watering
Does well in most well-draining general purpose potting mixes
Grows best when slightly pot-bound, may need repotted due to its general rapid growth and overcrowding of roots
