The Philodendron Brasil Plant is native to many habitats in tropical, South America, Mexico, Brazil, and the West Indies. It was discovered in 1991 from a grower in Holambra, Brazil as a stable mutation from an unnamed Philodendron hederaceum ('Rio') type. These climbing plants that can be found in tropical forests surrounding tree trunks.

Can survive in low light conditions but grows faster and produces more leaves in medium or bright indirect light
Variegated leaves can benefit from bright light; may start to lose variegation in lower light areas
Foliage will burn in direct light
WATER
Sensitive to overwatering, should not be left in soggy soil for extended periods of time
Allow top 2-3 inches of soil to dry out between watering
Quite easy to propagate
